NAAIED is a membership organization dedicated to advancing the practice of engaging Interim Executives Directors and Interim Directors during leadership transition. Members are trained interim professionals using best transition practices, to ensure a sustainable future for nonprofits.
NAAIED is the only national organization of nonprofit Interim Executives. Nonprofit Board members can be assured that NAAIED members have qualifications that they seek.
Over the years, we have learned what is required of Interims and what differentiates an IED from a permanent executive. Interims are not just placeholders for the incoming Executive Director during a search process, they provide expert, reliable, proven leadership.
