Chris Ranney has long had a passion for helping others succeed, thrive and meet life’s challenges head on. Throughout his 30-year career, Chris has served effectively as a leader, mentor and confidant to all he has worked with. He has served on numerous corporate and nonprofit boards and is currently on the Board of Directors at COTS, a renowned homeless advocacy organization in Petaluma which successfully brings housing and life changing services to those in need. He has also served on boards and multiple capital campaigns for St. Vincent de Paul Church and it’s two parish schools.
Chris brings a unique set of skills to his clients which include both business and nonprofit acumen. He has worked in public education, co-founded and built two highly successful businesses and was closely involved in three successful business mergers in multiple states. With dual careers in psychology and business, Chris brings first-hand knowledge and experience in what it takes to build, manage and effectively lead and motivate employees and senior leaders.
He has always been in senior leadership positions, including President, CEO and Board Chairman. He is currently a highly-trained coach and consultant working with C-Level Executives, Executive Directors, Senior Management Teams and community leaders who are experiencing individual or organizational challenges.
Chris is also very helpful with people facing a life transition such as changing careers, planning for retirement or entering into a new leadership role. Above all, when you work with Chris, he will support and challenge you to always do the right thing for yourself, your loved ones, your organization and the community you live in.
Chris and his wife live in Petaluma and are long-time residents of Sonoma County.
